Adrian Teo 张诗杰from DiMuto shared how #blockchain is used to digitalise global trade and specifically on fruits while George Thomas from BondEvalue illustrated how traditional corporate bonds are #tokenised for fractional ownership and seamless settlement. These are some of the real-life applications of the blockchain technology that is relevant in today’s context.
On 19th Feb 2020, participants from Wilmar International learned about blockchain fundamentals and use cases from the “Enterprise Blockchain & DLT for Executives” program organised by NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) and Singapore Blockchain Association (SBA), in addition to applying a structured framework to evaluate the suitability and design of blockchain solutions on a pharmaceutical supply chain case study.
This is a good partnership because the NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) mission is to provide opportunities for lifelong learners to stay relevant and competitive in the global workplace, through innovative continuing education offerings. This will allow individuals from other industries to learn about the growing blockchain space and gain awareness on how blockchain is an essential technology for decentralization, immutability, security, and transparency.
