Themed “Web 3.0 and Beyond”, SGBCW’s anchor event,  the Singapore Blockchain Week Summit, will bring together industry experts  and pioneers through a conference and exhibition to be held from 26 to 27 July 2022 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. The Singapore Blockchain Week Summit will focus on topics such as the outlook towards blockchain and digital assets, regulation, Web 3.0, Decentralised Finance (DeFi), enterprise blockchain, Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs), game finance, and blockchain for good, among others.

It is encouraging to see that SGBCW has attracted a diverse and stellar line-up of industry leaders and speakers from all around the globe to congregate and exchange ideas, which will go a long way towards nurturing the local and regional blockchain ecosystem. I hope that SGBCW will serve as a source of knowledge and inspiration for our members and the ecosystem at large.”

SGBCW will kick off with a Hackathon jointly organised by Morpheus Lab and Huawei. Taking place on 25 July, the Hackathon will showcase finalists’ product demonstrations.  Other events taking place during SGBCW include masterclasses and a career fair jointly organised by BAS, e2i, the Banking and Financial Services Sector, NTUC, and the Global Fintech Institute, as well as an exclusive Blockchain for Good Gala Dinner taking place from 26 to 29 July.

Ltd (Atlas), Emeritus Partner of Singapore Blockchain Week 2022, commented, “The pandemic has accelerated the innovation and adoption of digital assets. The digital asset industry is increasingly institutionalised, and Web 3.0 is unavoidable. A thriving digital asset ecosystem can only be built, if all parties including technological know-how leaders can navigate, collaborate, and prosper in this brave new world. Events like the Singapore Blockchain Week allow the different components of the ecosystem to meet. It is through this cohesion that we can achieve our common goal of fair and more inclusive financial markets. Through integrated business lines of Atlas, IDEG and Fundamental Labs, we offer a comprehensive range of value-added services throughout the blockchain ecosystem, and we believe in the sustainable and responsible development of digital asset.”

“Blockchain technology ecosystem is booming with its diversified applications, and ESPORTS 3.0 is one of them. ESPORTS 3.0 is building a Web 3.0 decentralized platform specifically designed to bring Esports into the blockchain by integrating mainly smart contracts among key stakeholders in the ESPORTS industry, unlocking the massive growth potential of the Sharing Economy. GEMS is an Esports 3.0 Platform with a unique online-to-offline system, propelling Esports into 3.0 by integrating GameFi, Metaverse and SocialFi elements.
