25 July 2025 – Blockchain Association Singapore is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore Polytechnic (SP), marking a significant milestone in Fintech education and workforce development. Aligning with Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Education’s vision to strengthen industry-education linkages, this strategic partnership underscores both organisations’ commitment to building a future-ready workforce equipped with cutting-edge financial technology skills.
The collaboration between BAS and SP is designed to strengthen Singapore’s fintech ecosystem through collective actions spanning diagnostics, workforce upskilling, applied research, and enhanced student-industry engagement.
Under this MOU, BAS will lead the development and implementation of two flagship programmes: the Fintech Industry Immersion Programme (FIIP), which offers participants hands-on experience and in-depth exposure to the latest trends, technologies, and business applications in the fintech sector; and the Certificate in Fintech Immersion, a structured certification programme that validates participants’ competencies in fintech fundamentals, blockchain technology, and digital financial services.
BAS will also play a crucial role in recommending and approving new fintech-related initiatives for inclusion in both programmes, ensuring that the curriculum remains current and industry-relevant.
